Elected Officials Are Fundamentally Dishonest | The Newtown Bee
"That so many of you view the NRA with its resistance to further restrictions on firearms as intransigent lunatics has far more to do with how you conduct yourselves in office than it does with the NRA's actions."

Ten Bears: It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men.

I pray that having his address at the end there doesn't cause him trouble.

Here, here!
Sounds a bit unhinged in the latter part of the letter, but his points are clearly defined.
Our Constitution was founded on a distrust of government that we have lost. We must keep our politicians aware that they work for us, not the other way around, and gun control is an important aspect of keeping us from demanding that we are to serve those in power rather than to be served by those we entrust with such authority.

Whooooaaaa, that was a good letter, it seems he's about as frustrated like many of us are. Thanks for posting, I'll pass that along.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.

Too inflammatory and over-the-top for my taste.
I'm not sure what the author was trying to accomplish with this article but being so accusatory and angst-ridden obscures any deeper message he may have been trying to convey.

You may be right but the Newtown Bee where the incident happened didn't see it that way.

I have no problem with accusatory tones. His content is just right. The anti-gun politicians are CONSTANTLY inflammatory and accusatory in their speech. Its nice to hear a passionate reaction.
