Colorado has a bill in the legislature to do that, but it will get killed because the Senate and House are controlled by democrats.

They just killed a bill that would let teachers carry in classrooms.

SD legislature has introduced a bill to preclude enforcement of gun bans and such within the state. Similar to the bills introduced in other states. HB 1222

Florida is usually been very gun pro-active. I haven't heard anything about FL.'s take on Obozo's gun laws. I do know that guns are flying off the shelves at LGS and ammo is sold out.

Actually, if the Federal Government passes an AWB and it's upheld as constitutional by the USSP, the states are required by the Constitution to adhere to the Federal law. If memory serves, these states are trying to set up a case for "nullification". However, a State has never successfully won a case on the grounds of nullification.

Add Pennsylvania to the list. I don't know the bills name but revived an email from a few reps and senators. The PA "right to bear arms protection act" is what it's called.

I'm really hoping WV is just REALLY slow on the draw. I'd like to see an anti AWB bill here.

SC finally has a proposal to allow us to carry in a bar/restaurant that serves alcohol, as long as we dont drink while carrying. I am fine with that! If you are in SC, call your reps!! It was introduced by Rep Bill Taylor and he deserves our support and thanks

Hi, I'm from CT, and I am screwed.
We did away with county government- no sheriffs.
I can retire from the FD in 2018 and the only reason we will still be here is my wife works for the !#@%$ state. Someone leave a light on in AZ or TX for me?

WV politics is a bit confusing. The WV house and senate are more "centrist than anything else. Also, WV voters usually vote democratic in local elections and republican nationally. I think the only reason we are a gun-friendly state is that we have a long history of gun ownership in the state, and the politicians recognize that fact, and sort of put up with it. But I wouldn't hold my breath for an "anti"- anti gun bill to make it through to the Gov, and even if it does, Gov Tomblin might not sign it. Of course, I hope I'm wrong on all counts.
