The same page as above, Emily Miller has several good articles Supporting the Second Amendment.
Ten Bears: It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men.
The people in Washington work for us. Why do they think they are more important and deserve protection while the rest of us don't?
They need to be reminded often of who they work for.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
“The purpose of the law is not to prevent a future offense, but to punish the one actually committed” - Ayn Rand
good article, terrible title. "little people" is only inflammatory and will further push a wedge on the issue. If pro 2A people want to retain the 2A, they need to win moderates not alienate or belittle them. How often can have you successfully enrolled someone in your beliefs and ideas by first insulting them or a position they may be sympathetic to?
Anyone serious about the 2A needs to not shout out their anger at opposition but embrace rational discussion that can build momentum to attract those caught in the middle. Adult conversation levels = constructive discussion. Childish name calling = timeout. We can't afford a timeout.
perhaps I misinterpreted the title's intention. The article body never refers to "little people" My read was it referring to those who consider a 'gun free zone' and effective or appropriate.
My guess is, like many articles, the title was slapped on by an editor just looking to draw in readers.
