Boy did he hand them their butts in a sling or what?
This was on January 28th?
Wonder how my local channels seem to have lost this?
Gotta love how he hammered the desk, promptly got up and walked off.
I love him.
I'd like to buy that man some ammo!!!
Darn straight. Well said sir, well said.
He didn't take any questions from the committee did he?
I especially liked his point (paraphrasing here) about being able to adequately protect his daughter at home, and why can't she enjoy a similar protection at school.
As I sat here watching this video, I found myself actually applauding. Got a little misty, too. I wish they would replay that on the major networks ( like that would ever happen ).
Yeah, you won't be seeing that televised on your local news, LOL.
We all know that MOST Americans are in favor of more gun control (according to politicians)...this must be that one person who wasn't included in those figures.
It was especially nice to hear the support he was getting from those in attendance at the hearing.
I loved every second of it. :yup:
Well Said!!
A little too overly sarcastic and condescending in my humble opinion but the point was clear.
Where can we hear the board's response?
Fantastic! We need more like him who aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe. Bravo!
I'll bet there are others from Sandy Hook that feel the same way but are afraid to speak up.
See below...
I used to be one who believed in restraint and decorum... And I still do, while in the public eye...
OTOH, this man's child was perhaps a wall or two away from the Carnage at Sandy Hook...
And he is absolutely correct. He has earned the right to his vitriol, and he spoke earnestly, and factually...
We all need to learn to speak as firmly, if a bit less condescendingly, our truth, to power and to peer.
