    Yeagers interview

I dont take everything I see at face value on the internet to be as it appears, So I dont even know who this guy is. He could be a government official for all I know trying to get people to respond so that the government can see how people may react or if they agree with his ways.. I dont know..

Im gonna take him that he is who he says he is, That he is for the people.. I like his responses in this interview. I did see the one video in which he admits he went to far.. I agree.

My problem is people saying "he is not doing us any good by being so radical", or things like "he will make us all look like we are extremist", "its not the right way to go about it".. Tell that to New York, and California. Once your rights are gone, They are NOT coming back!

I think its gonna take a warning like 3:35 to get the message that people have had enough and won't stand for anymore tyranny and corruption, lies, and erosion of the constitution.
We will never win by worrying about what the communist think. There needs to be people who make it well known that they are law abiding, pay taxes, but will not allow confiscation and will fight back anyone who tries to infringe on there rights.. Being humble and trying to debate may work but most likely not IMO. Mabey people should be afraid to ever think about taking law abiding citizens guns away so we can end this for ever. Good job in my opinion.

I don't know why they pulled his carry permit, but if I were him I would be getting a lawyer. Unless he made a specific threat against someone in which charges were brought then it seems to me he is being punished for exercising his 1st Amendment right to free speech. And that, folks, is where we are as a nation. Rights are being trampled on and treated like privileges.

I agree! It does disturb me alot, because I can see where we are heading if nobody does anything about it..

He spoke out of anger, he knows he made a mistake, but im glad he isn't backing down on other issues.. We are gonna have a problem if no one makes it known that there will be consequences to unconstitutional laws. Its not about Guns, its about freedom... Scary time to live but one where we might have to get off our lazy backs and do something about

I could feel his frustration with the woman doing the interview. She just doesn't get it and people like that are the reason our rights are getting flushed down the toilet.

Yeager is one of those very passionate people whose language often steers toward hyperbole. The world of instant communication (e.g., YouTube) has not served him well as he appears to have few filters. In the old-fashioned world of print media, his content would be reviewed by an editor and probably toned down before it was released for general consumption. He also seems to have an ego substantially larger than the room I'm sitting in.

Yeager's mouth has created a great deal of controversy over the past couple of months. He's challenged people to fight him over being called a coward, and he publicly stated that he wanted to shoot some people. In light of the current climate of fear and discussions about mentally unstable people with guns, I'm not at all surprised that his CCW has been suspended. As has oft been stated here, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes." Note I didn't say this is right; merely that I'm not surprised.

My guess is that this will play out like the Jim Zumbo affair, after a cooling-off period and heaps of public contrition. But I personally have little use for his opinions and I wouldn't spend a buck on his training.

If you watch some of his other videos he is obviously a regular guy with a good head on his shoulders, he just got a little mad. How many people are not guilty of that from time to time? There is no reason why he should not be able to have his permit.

In his original rant he did make specific threats. And this wasn't the first time hes found himself in legal hot water over his Youtube rants. Anyone remember him publicly challenge a guy to a duel to the death? I believe that's what cost him his business license. I think the guy who said "I don't want his kind speaking for me" is right. We can do a lot more with a lot less of his kind. DR

All I'm saying is that there may be a need to get a little more reved up and let people know that we DO have a line in the sand and we will rise up if that line is crossed. Im not hoping for violence and I sure dont even want it to go that far. I just fear we are turning into a differnt country and its possibly going to take more than writing to congress and senators this time. Its gonna take people with that attitude to keep our freedoms, Again IMO.. Mabey im way off and things will be done in the courts, problem I have with the courts after Obaba care is that they are corrupt seemingly

So, you tell me exactly what Mr Yeager did that helped our cause? The only folks that seem to agree with his method are folks that already are in agreement about the 2A.
Isn't the whole point to sway other folks?

And, the second part in BOLD: You tell me exactly what more needs to be done than writing congressman? I hear that all the time but I am curious to what "this more" is. Is it getting on YouTube and ranting like an idiot. If you think he came across as effective I would like to know how he was effective.

I said its possibly gonna take more than writing our congressmen. I dont know what the end result will be here. I can't see by him saying exactly how a lot of people feel inside can hurt anything.. How can he hurt the "cause" when the Anti's/and the anti gun part of our government DO NOT care about 2A. You really think after all these years these people are gonna change their minds and say, Yeah, Your right we are wrong.. Dont think so.. Im all about being civil but there has to be a line somewhere. what it is? I dont know, But I do know that how he responded on that interview is how most people probably feel, and I think it's good to express that anger to make known that we aren't going to stand for commie/socialistic, dictator like rules and regulations... More people that show they have had enough and are WILLING to do something if it goes further, I feel has a better and lasting effect.. That "something" is something that is gonna have to be determined and discerned by the people when they feel they have had enough oppression.. Confiscation I think is the line. At least he warned that he would not allow it.. I admire the courage to even say that, when we are loosing our 1st amendment..

It is not only a case of winning over "anti's" (which BTW they come in various packages-all out banners to those that want more restrictions), it is to not push folks on the fence over to the other side by acting like a lunatic. And whether you like it or not a lot of pro 2A folks think he came across poorly representing gun owners. For those that were on the fence about background checks for personal sales might have changed their minds after seeing Yeager.

Regular guys with good heads on their shoulders do not post videos on the web saying they are ready to start killing people.Neither do they post a photographer beside a target on a hot range.
