We have potential here in PA for this to stand a chance of going thru - tho it is taking time. Several states yet could go for it - and it's to be hoped they do.

I would like here to see the need to retreat being reduced or dismissed - the "stand your ground" aspect - then of course tyhe home protection aspect which can be improved upon.

Almost most important IMO is a way to automatically remove any right to a civil action from BG or family, in the event of a proven righteous shoot.

The more states the better. Luckily we have similar laws in MI now.

    Two Comments...

This could be great news (although it should be common sense) for Texas...go for it!

I hope that Texas passes this law and I sincerely hope that Tennessee gets on the bandwagon.

I would have thought that Texas already had it, up here everything about your guns laws is considered started in Texas.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

I sent emails to both Senator Wentworth & Senator Nelson expressing my support. I asked that they both ensure that wording of the bill is not too vague.

I also asked if either of them would be willing to consider authoring an "open carry" bill similar to AZ's.

I'll be following up with a letter later on today.

BTW, I'm not sticking my nose into another state's business. We'll be relocating soon.
