Grassley will crush it. He's the man. Lots of influence.
As will King.

King is state. And as I said, Grassley has pull.
Emails sent to Anderson, King, and Soderberg.
I'll be sending e-mails in the morning. I figured it was a matter of time before the state Dems drafted something. Grassley has some huge pull and I'm hoping y'all are right about King. I saw Ako is one of the guys on this one. I've done some work for him, nothing political but hopefully if I get in touch with him he'll remember me. I'll be sending him an e-mail too.
King's an animal. Check his record. This is the kind of guy that would give tax breaks for ammo buyers.
Damn how many more States are gonna have to fight off these bills????

This is the reply I got back.
Dear Ron
Thanks for your email and sharing the concerns you have with government enacting more restrictions on gun ownership. It is important that I know your concerns. The information that you provided is most helpful if and when any legislation may come before me to act on. I believe we have too many restrictions on gun ownership today and we certainly don’t need anymore. The people who obey the laws are not the problem and the people who do not obey the laws certainly are not going to automatically start with the passage of a new law.
I don't expect any more gun laws to be passed in Iowa this year. My biggest concern is with our President and his executive orders. He defiantly seems to have an agenda against guns.
Your suggestions will help me do a better job of representing you as we work on legislation this session. Please be assured I will keep your concerns in mind when voting on issues that come up before the legislature.
Also, do not hesitate to call me at the Statehouse during the week at 515-242-64xx or on my cell phone at 319-750-14xx if this is an issue that you would like to discuss with me in more detail.
Thanks again for writing!

Should hear back from Soderberg and Anderson soon.
Even if they do not "Expect" a win it still sends a message. The state does not have the guts and want Uncle Sam to be the bad guy.
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
