    Color me unimpressed. There are several other companies who have said similar things, but you will note that they are all small, privately held companies that do no business with government agencies in New York anyway.

    Nope. There aren't enough small companies to make any impression in a meaningful way. It's a nice symbolic gesture but nothing more. Now, if Bushmaster, Colt, Remington, RRA, or S&W did this? That's money. These are the folks with big contracts and who provide the majority of ARs to law enforcement in the US.

    I was thinking the ammunition companies need to take a stand, but then realized the government would just start operating their own ammunition factories.
