My Comments: Both say they hadn't seen the full-page ad, published in newspapers in Maine and four other states. = a Lie or they have the dumbest Staffers on their payroll of the entire Senate.

My Comments: They Lie! and people with the help of the NRA are going to flush them out like the Rats that they are.

.........."I haven't seen it," King said Thursday, referring to a full-page ad in Thursday's Bangor Daily News.

..........Collins said she had not seen the ad, which mentions the senators by name.

..........The NRA ad, which ran in daily newspapers in five states, is headlined: "Will Obama's gun control proposals actually work?" The next line reads: "His own experts say 'No.'"

Oh and Also - The paper drew criticism last week because it submitted Freedom of Access Act requests for records of all concealed-weapons permit holders in Maine.

The request was rescinded because of a backlash from lawmakers and threats from advertisers and readers. On Tuesday, the Maine Legislature passed emergency legislation to halt the release of any information on concealed-weapons permits for 60 days.

I had the opportunity to meet senator Collins and then senator Snowe while on vacation in Maine, lets just say that it was an experience and I am glad we don't have the likes of them here in Florida.

What is the article exactly saying? It's a little confusing.

Yes, it is confusing. The two were to address an ad by the NRA that they have not seen and used it as an opportunity to express their opinions on gun control.

Typical politicians. They talked but didn't really say anything. Well, except that Collins did at least say she was concentrating on the mental health issue. But as far as where they stand on restrictions of legal gun owners, we don't know any more now than we did before.
