    2A - Beretta’s future in Maryland tied to state’s gun-control debate

My Comments: Lots of good info in the article and true rationales why the company should move, based on which laws will be passed. Especially concerning liability if they are forced to register as an FFL. Of note is how the Anti-Legislators are all for special carve outs, to 'save jobs' but will still let the company hang in the wind. They want it both ways...........LOL

Politicians think money and jobs grow on trees. They will very soon get a harsh reality lesson; don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I hope gun, ammo, and accessory makers will relocate from these draconian anti-gun states and move their jobs and tax base to states that do not infringe on the Second Amendment.

That article perfectly illustrates idiot politicians making decisions in a vacuum, then scrambling to clean up the aftereffects. All I can say is Texas has plenty of open land for a state of the art facility and a Governor and Legislature that will bend over backwards to help out Beretta.

As a person living in Maryland, if the new laws pass and Beretta wants to move to another State I'll volunteer to help them pack!! The more the people in this state get hurt the sooner they will dump the people that have been running this state and throwing "our" money away!

Last night, one of our Senator's was on Judge Jeanine, and said if Colorado passes the high-cap mag ban,and Magpul leaves,we would love for them to come to S.C.Beretta could join us,also.I would like it myself, but,i don't won't to see those people lose their jobs.Maybe their elected officials won't let that happen.

First Colorado and now Maryland legislators trying to tap dance around the force of their convictions. They don't want those evil guns in their state but it's OK if someone makes them there and sells elsewhere. What pathetic hypocrites they are.

When are we citizens going to stop "pu**ing footing" around and stop putting these "jack booted" thugs who keep robbing us of our rights back into office?
If we do not get rid of every elected official who is not dedicated to upholding our exsiting constitution over the next two election cycles or sooner. They are no longer the problem, we are.

The teat's going dry. There's only one thing that occurs when that happens: the flow of "milk" stops. It is what it is.

Time for every single firearms-related manufacturer, distributor and dealer to reevaluate in light of the attacks on our liberty. Many are doing just that. Many aren't and won't. And if these schemes continue to get pushed through, tens of millions of citizens will be left with what they ostensibly wished (voted) for: incapability of withstanding predation by criminals.

I hope Beretta follows through and relocates. If the restrictions pass, I wouldn't be able to send my Berettas to the factory if they needed servicing, or repair.

I love what Signor Beretta said... "There always seems to be a problem with Maryland."

    Indeed.

If they want to move to Kentucky, I'd be glad to go to work for them.

As a former MD resident I can tell you they would miss the revenue from Beretta. I hope they keep their word and leave.
