I realize Colorado is ground zero right now for our 2A rights and many are passionate about defending those rights. But, THIS does not help at all. What an idiot.
Police: Man arrested for sending harassing e-mails to state Rep. Rhonda Fields - The Denver Post
Know Guns, Know Safety, Know Peace.
No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
This occurs everyday. If it weren't for the current hysteria over the 2A, you would never hear about it.
I’m all for voicing ones frustrations but to throw in profanity and death threats is just stupid. I do write my reps but I keep it civil.Sain told police he was "just voicing some frustrations" about the Aurora legislator's efforts to tighten state gun laws.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
"Don't forget, incoming fire has the right of way."
Almost as dumb as thinking the gangs are going to obey the laws she is proposing.

The supreme art of war is to defeat the enemy without fighting........ Sun Tzu.
How long before this is picked up by the national media? This is exactly what they are looking for - extreme gun people...
Not the kind of press gun advocates need right now. There is a lot of miss information out there and stereotypes. Right now, every responsible gun owner not only represents his or herself, but an entire culture of responsibly armed citizens.
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way." - V. Frankl
That is terrible. That behavior is not representative of our community.
Embarrassing and frustrating--that is definitely what we DON'T need here right now!
"Good decisions come from experience;
experience comes from bad decisions"
People really need to think before they say or write to anyone about any controversial topic. Don't do it in the heat of the moment. Stop and think what the result of your communication may be. Ask yourself whether it will help or hinder your cause. Putting the release of your frustrations (in a hurtful or threatening way) ahead of the cause you are communicating about is selfish and short-sighted. Don't be selfish and short-sighted. THINK before you speak or write!
It just, AGAIN, points out why Anti-2A Progressive Liberals attack Legal and Lawful gun owners without a history of this, and fail to police or address the fact that most of these Insane people are in fact Progressive Left insane people themselves.
No, WE NEED TO BAN ALL GUNS, so blame anyone that is not Progressive Left and insane.............
Remember, the Socialists of the '50s raised the Hippies of the '60s, who became the Socialist Teachers of the '70's (using Environmentalists as a proverbial 'Duck Blind'), who are now the people running our Adminstration and Government today.... or something like that.
It's the nature of the world. 1/500 people are going to be whackjobs, and they'll populate both sides of the fence of any political issue. It's why we should use the charity principle in debate, where you attend the strongest points of your opponents' argument, instead of rabbit-trailing after the crazies.
I know I've done a lot of dumb things in my life -- and probably will again. But, this guy is guaranteed to lose his guns with or without any new laws being passed or even proposed. Stupid.
From the linked story....
I for one have 100+ 30 rounds mags and 150 round drums. I will never give those up, and I am far from being some whack job," Sain wrote in one of the e-mails, the affidavit said.
It would be interesting to hear Mr Sain's definition of a "whack job". His alleged behavior fits my definition.
