States put families’ welfare at risk for pointless gun control laws

Since its founding in 1919, Mossberg has been based in Connecticut. The firm recently invested $4 million for new equipment and hired 100 new people to meet increased demand. Now the firm is seriously considering shifting its expansion plans to its Texas facility.

In just the last two years, gunmakers have created more than 37,000 new jobs.

If they move everything to Texas, they will create jobs there where the good people of Texas still support the Constitution. The Good people in CT have made their own bed, now they can sleep in it. Actions have consequences

When the arms manufacturers relocate from NY, MD, CT, the citizens of those states will probably cry 'foul' because the economies take a dip or worse. I agree they have to deal with the consequences, but I wonder how many people have thought that far ahead. I, for one, hope the companies move. The governors of those states will then be scrambling but with no effect. Kind of like what a chicken does when the head is cut-off.

The Progressive left is deft to logic and will not see any cause and effect. They will find some other unicorn reason on why this happened.

You give them too much credit for being intelligent.

While it would be a real drag for all the folks that would lose their jobs (unless they relocated) these arms makers that are based in Connecticut ought to move their operations to states that believe in the sanctity of the 2A and don't believe in putting a noose around the neck of business. And every employee who get's the shaft by the yahoo troglodytes in state govt in Conn ought to march on that states capital and DEMAND A RECALL of their full of horse manure governor. Along with the equally full of chicken crap state legislators who are in league with this pompous piece of vile lard.

We welcome any and all companies coming to Texas. Land here is cheaper. Labor pool doesn't mind working. Unions aren't going to muck much up. Weather stays good most of the year. Costs of living aren't ridiculous here.

Sure there is going to be some initial painful costs in relocating, but once setup, those costs will be easily outstripped by the savings of doing business here than where they were before.

Maybe Colt will lease Mossy some space at it's new Florida facility.

If the gun manufactures do end up relocating, I hope they screen their employees and leave the liberals behind. We have a pattern of folks moving to a new state because of how messed up their state is, and then constantly complaining about their new state and trying to get everyone to buy into their liberal views. Folks need to realize why everything was so hosed up back home.

Thankfully, the Michigan economy is too dismal for them to come here and we still have pretty decent gun laws.
