    Thumbs up

This guy has been working his butt off for us (I somehow got on his email distribution list).

    His daddy raised him right.

Please keep this Second Amendment related so it doesn't get canned,

I'm liking him a lot more these days. Once he beats down gun control, perhaps he can start digging into DHS to find out just why they need so much military hardware.

I for one, am glad to see that we have three MEN that will make the effort to stop this nonsense. I pray they are successful.

Yup. The man needs our support. My Dad and I have been sending donations to Sheriff Joe Arpio, from California, for years with a note "Please run for President or California Governor".

I've seen a lot of statements from the leftist-antis saying that 90% of the people support increased gun restrictions/controls. I think that if this were really the case, that they wouldn't have such a hard time getting something like an enhanced background check bill through the Senate. Regardless, I am pleased that he will block the legislation. These sorts of things need to be stopped here and now. The line in the sand must be drawn. The antis are not even hiding their intent of this being just the first step of their long laundry list ultimately ending in a complete ban and confiscation of civilian firearms. This can not be allowed to happen. There is the an old saying about how to eat an elephant and the answer being one bite at a time. In this case, they can't even be allowed to pick up their forks.

No, they aren't "NOW" pushing the AWB as an amendment. That is the only way it can be added, because it will not be brought to the floor as a bill on it's own...

A huge Texas thank you to Senators Paul, Cruz and Lee for taking this fight to the other side rather than waiting for it to come to them. Godspeed and good luck gentlemen. Let your voices be heard.

Honestly, I have to wonder if that isn't in some ways worse. My concern is that it is somehow slipped through on something else and doesn't get noticed or objected to.

Dear Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid,

We, the undersigned, intend to oppose any legislation that would oppose on the American people's constitutional right to bear arms, or on their ability to exercise this right without being subjected to government surveillance.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution protects citizens' right to self-defense. It speaks to history's lesson that government cannot be in all places at all times, and history's warning about the oppression of a government that tries....

They are doing a good job and getting some real momentum in turning the tide of the battle. Why stop at the sludge flowing out of the people/gun controller agenda? Could it be we take the fight to some existing gun restrictions?
Americans understood the right of self-preservation as permitting a citizen to repel force by force
when the intervention of society... may be too late to prevent an injury.
