    All it takes to stop a despot with a gun...

    Here's a little poster I "did up" Share it if you like...

    Throughout history, we've learned that all it takes to stop a madman, or a criminal with a gun is a good guy... or several of them, with a gun. or have we learned it?

    We have, yes.

    "They" certainly haven't, as a group. And IMO they won't until each and every one of them finds out, first hand, that dial-a-prayer tends to be a poor substitute for having an actual ability to withstand attack on the instant it occurs. There are simply no good substitutes for that: either being armed, or being made to see the truth in such stark terms.
