    Senate amdt. No. 717; To withhold 5 percent of Community Oriented Policing Services program Federal funding from States and local governments that release sensitive and confidential information on law-abiding gun owners and victims of domestic violence.

    Now THAT's "Common Sense" legislation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (only in my opinion on the 1st one they should withhold way more than 5%...more like ALL of it).

    This soon after the Boston bombings, I think there is no way you could get the Senate to do anything that would reduce funding for Police activities.
