This is a discussion on Let's hit this poll and wear it out within the The Second Amendment & Gun Legislation Discussion forums, part of the Related Topics category; So far it's 97% pro-gun, 2% anti, and 1% undecided. I don't think it's strongly enough pro-gun, so work your magic:...

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
VERY poorly worded poll.
UH NO! I see what they're trying to get at. However, no amendment or the entire constitution itself GIVES me any rights. I require them for basic existence as a human on this earth. No document can give them to me.Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?
The problem with a concept like this is that if you can be "given" rights by some document, then the people in charge of writing and/or editing said document can take those "given" rights away.

I have voted on this poll about 5 times since it started in 2007.
^^Hmm it is poorly worded. Also looks like it's from 1997. Odd.
I hit it anyway.
No trees were harmed in the construction of this post. However a large number of electrons were indiscriminately aroused.
Total votes were 12,742,882 when I cast mine and the percentage was still at 97% Pro 2nd Amendment.
