Best of luck to the law-abiding gun owners of CT.

Some good arguments presented, let’s hope TRUE common sense prevails.

I'm glad they did not wait too long.

Hmmm, I'd like to see the actual suit. I could be very wrong but I have a hunch a former active
poster her who practices law in Bridgeport might be one of the attorneys.

I am not sure, I believe the lead attorney is out of NYC. I don't know the status of the NY state lawsuits, there are a few New Yorkers here that are more qualified than I to speak to that. I got home from errands and got the notification that the lawsuit was filed and immediately posted it here. As I get details I will pass them on. I believe there's another forum member who is more involved with the CCDL than I am and he may chime in.

Thanks for the well wishes, we can hope!

Good luck, you're not going to win, but I give credit and respect for trying. Similar efforts are underway in MD to challenge Vanilla Obama (O'Malley)'s newly signed gun ban.

I wish you folks success in your endeavor. What if our system was designed to punish and penalize criminals instead of productive citizens? Just a thought.

I read the majority of the complaint. It is well written and well thought out. I think they have a very good chance of winning this one. But maybe I am just a bit naive.
