    Maine Senate Rejects 'gun show loophole' bill

    Well at least Maine has their head on straight

    Amid the ongoing national debate over the effectiveness of gun control in preventing gun violence, the state Senate voted 19-16 Thursday to reject a bill to require background checks for all firearms buyers at gun shows.

    Seems most "common sense" as it applies to firearms laws is at the state level nowadays... Good on 'em.
