12 Men Attack Thai School - Security Guard With a Gun Handles the Situation (VIDEO)

"On March 11, a nursing school in Thailand was attacked in the early morning hours by 12 masked men wielding machetes. The nursing school is an all female institution for local 15- and 16-year-old girls in the Buriram Province. It is believed the motivation behind the attack was to lower moral and intimidate the all female institution."

How irresponsible of the school administrator... I'm sure all the 12 machete-wielding men wanted was to be heard and understood.

Those bad guys weren't very committed. Thanks for posting this - it was interesting to watch. If nothing else it shows that firearms can help even the odds when the numbers are against you. Can't imagine what those 12 guys would have done if they got into the school.

It just goes to show again that most of these people are really cowards. As soon as they are met with someone that can defend themselves they run away. The same goes for most of the "tough" guy criminals in the US also.

Had they been more committed, it could have become another Beslan.

Kudos to the defender for having the ability and determination to withstand the attack.

There's a guy with some intestinal fortitude!

I'd wager that our politicians would sadly reject this clear demonstration of the value of armed people at a school with some malarkey about why that situation isn't relevant to here.

Note that the last bad guy was limping away. Think at least one hit was registered. Also there is at least 1 Machete available for potato peeling at the school. Thanks for the donation chicken @)&& bad guy.

If it were only that simple. The antis have a folder full of one-liners to "explain" why guns are bad and would cause damage of a monumental nature, and therefore need to be "controlled," in spite of actual anecdotal evidence to the contrary. So to answer your question, no, they will never "get it." The only thing we can do is threaten to vote them out of office at the earliest available opportunity, and then do just that. That's the only thing that gets their attention.

For the most part, you are correct. Of course, every once in a while we come across a delusional, suicidal lost soul who wants to go out with a bang, and take as many people with him as possible. In such cases, the solution is the same (an armed citizenry), but you can count on him not turning tail and running away.

If that happened here, the administrator would be branded a right wing gun nut. He'd be fired from his job and charged with carrying a weapon in a GFZ.
