A member from Wisconsin alerted us to a bill we somehow missed, AB221 introduced May 29, the bill essentially bans civilian use of hollow point ammunition stating:

'Whoever intentionally sells, transports, manufactures, or possesses any hollowpoint bullet, bullet that expands or flattens easily in the human body, or bullet with a hard envelope which does not entirely cover the core or is pierced with incisions is guilty of a Class H felony'

Proposed Wisconsin Gun Law AB221 - American Gun Owners Alliance

Not sure the chances it has with only three sponsors though.

The key point to take away from this proposal is this, especially for all Wisconsin voters. It is proposed in a blind rage by Democrats who think they are more virtuous, smarter, and just plain better than the great unwashed masses, who in their view, should bow down to them, thanking them for their benevolent dictates. We know this, we know they hate guns. We know they want to ban them and confiscate them from the public. We know they will try to play on and manipulate the public's emotions. We know they will use any means necessary to achieve their authoritarian goals.

As it stands right now, they control no chamber of the legislature or governor's office so the proposal is going nowhere currently. When you talk to "low information voters", family, friends, or co-workers that may not pay much attention to the body politics, use this bill and the hundreds of others like it throughout the 50 states to demostrate what voting Democrats into power will mean. If in power, they will pass bills like this. It is who they are, how they think. They are not hiding anything and providing us with proof of their desires to control and dictate to the masses. Use the logic, not the insults.

I've emailed the 3 politicians that signed on to this bill and educated them on why LEO's and civilians alike would prefer HP rounds for defensive shooting. Probably will only be read by some worthless intern but I'd rather they hear from pro-2A citizens than holophobes.
