Senate Votes to Stop UN Small Arms Treaty!

    Well boys here it is.

46 Senators are guilty of treason, IMO, since they did not follow their oathes to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in this Vote.

All those who opposed the Blockage of the treaty were Dems and Indys.

    Read it here:

Senate votes 53-46 to stop US from joining UN Arms Trade Treaty - The Hill's Floor Action

Be sure to IMEDIATELY contact your Senators and give them the due responses they deserve.

Thank those that supported our Constitution.

Give Verbal lashing and assurance of their non-election with the most due diligence to those that voted not to block it.

That is from Mar 23, 2013.....old news
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Also it was this thing called political theater. All treaties must be ratified by a 2/3rds majority of the Senate, thus there is ZERO to pass a bill saying that you are not going to ratify a treaty, other than political theater.

It shows there are not enough votes to pass the treaty. However, O-man is eyeing the 2014 elections and trying to change the balance in the Senate so that he can get it through. We need to stay on our toes.

It is oldish news but, feel free to continue to discuss it. Just don't let it turn into unrelated general bashing.

IMO, it shouldn't matter what the composition of the Senate was, is or will be, it is an Anti/Unconstitutional doctrine and anyone supporting giving power to foreign entities over our own sovereignty is Treason.

Treason is defined as a betrayal of your country and countrymen. If this instance does not fall within those guidelines I do not know what would.

That being said, it is imperative that everyone come to understand the importance of this single issue for what it is and what it stands for. This is, as a resoundingly anti-libertarian doctrine, that would impose foreign rule, could be viewed as the single greatest threat to our Country as it denigrates the power of The Bill of Rights and especially the Second Amendment as it removes the precious conveyance that "We the People" are the Sovereign Rulers of our Government and ourselves.

To put this into histories perspective, at what point in time, up to now, would this be deemed acceptable and with what entity of foreign dominion?

Would we, as a nation, of Gods Graces' Founding and Protection, have entered such a treaty with King George III?

    How about Hitler?

At no juncture would this ever have been accepted as a rational or necessary domestic or foreign policy, and it should remain that way.

    Have you read it? (Treaty)

Have you read what US law is about treason and how it is applied?

Where does it impose foriegn rule? Rememebr, much of it is voluntary and that mush of the rest would be taken care of by individual trade agreements if their was not a treaty?

    First I must ask;

What's the point of this type of agreement?

    What does it accomplish?

    Why is it even needed?
