Bloomberg's MAIG ads worked for me. Every time I saw one I contacted my elected officials. Just not with the message MAIG wanted.

He needs to get back to the drawing board on his "ban big gulp" plan that just isn't sticking, and stay out of the gun ban business entirely.

    NEW YORK | Tue Jul 30, 2013 6:58pm EDT
(Reuters) - New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's controversial plan to keep large sugary drinks out of restaurants and other eateries was rejected by a state appeals court on Tuesday, which said he had overstepped his authority in trying to impose the ban.

I liked one of the other headlines I followed; where Feinstein and the NSA seem to have decided Canada and Mexico qualify as "Homeland."

    Michael (The Ranting Runt) Bloomberg.

A walking and talking clinical example of a severe Napoleonic complex.

Not a mental illness per say, but definitely a significant personality flaw.

Georgia, where I live, is often castigated (and rightfully so) for it's poor education system, but it seems NYC and NY state has its own share of mental midgets walking around and voting these days. i.e. Bloomberg, Clinton, Shumer, Cuomo, Weiner etc. etc.

We need the courts to give their NY gun laws the same treatment the big soda pop laws got. "Exceeded their authority".

I said Bloomberg (or Lord Farquaad of NYC as I like to call him) was the greatest gift we could ever have had. First off, he thinks everywhere is just like NYC and people would think that way. He never realized a lot of people in those other 49 states are not in awe of the great big city, and believe it is the fount of all things humans want. That arrogance turned so many people off that they rejected his ideas as an rich elitist/feudal lord/royalty trying to tell us little people/peasants how to live. He further reinforced/confirmed that notion when he pushed his personal preferences as policy with things like the soda size ban, escalator bans, trans fat bans, salt limits, or breast feeding mandates. No one needed to create a caricature of Lord Farquaad of NYC as a meddling nanny, he did it to himself. When he speaks now, most simple tune him out as that rich elitist that believe he is better than the rest of us, and people absolutely hate that. Well done, Lord Farquaad

I would guess it depends upon who the "someone" is and who you call god. In the case of Bloomberg, my God probably already has a scary afterlife planned for him.
I would rather die on my feet, than to live on my knees.
