Kansas University Professor Wishes the Deaths of NRA Members Children

    Sorry if its a repost.

Journalism professor says he hopes for murder of NRA members' children

David Guth, a professor of journalism at KU, tweeted #NavyYardShooting The blood is on the hands of the #NRA. Next time let it be your sons and daughters. Shame on you. May god damn you."

I would surely love to meet this man in person, tell him your welcome for being a welfare recipient of the freedom I provide him, and then punch him square in the jaw.

Most normal people, if they were to walk around a college campus for a day or two, would be shocked at how common this kind of thing is. Universities are not centers for education, but for indoctrination in a particular set of philosophies.
"Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out of the way... The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way."

I let him know how pathetic I thought it was for him to say that.

    What a douche.

Does he understand that this happened on a secure military base in a city that bans firearms, and that the shooter used a plain old shotgun and not an evil "assault rifle?"

This shooting perfectly highlights why gun control doesn't, can't, and won't work. It's the PEOPLE, not the guns.

Why does anyone care what this man has to say? His statements are so ridiculous and idiotic they only make him look like the fool he is.

“I don't wish what happened today on anyone,” he wrote. “But if it does happen again — and it likely will — may it happen to those misguided miscreants who suggest that today's death toll at the Navy Yard would have been lower if the employees there were allowed to pack heat.”

Also in his interview with Campus Reform, he said that he wished “a pox on our Congress and a pox on the NRA” for not instituting gun control policies to prevent mass shootings.
And he accuses the NRA and gun owners of a propensity towards violence???

I care because there could be some nut job who is angry at the world out there just waiting for the right catalyst to set him off.

Those who preach death to innocents earn their lot in life, ultimately.

He's missing the boat, of course, on the "cause" of the defensive position citizens take. The NRA has nothing to do with that, so much as the good common sense of people to recognize that when the chips are down having the means of surviving a violent situation beats waiting for help that's 5mins away. The NRA just supports that common sense; they don't cause it or make anyone defend themselves capably. We, the citizens, do that for ourselves.

So, he's not wishing death upon NRA members' children so much as he's wishing death upon all innocents who dare lift a finger for their own defense and the defense of their children. He's wishing for a brainless, defenseless, powerless collection of serfs instead of citizens who'd kill to defend attack own their own. Once upon a time, such people were universally recognized as being strong people standing for what's right. In this guy's head, such people are the devil.

Sadly, people like him might never see. Might well take a violent crime coming to find him defenseless and shivering, to wake him up; and, even then, it might well not succeed. May he see reality, at that point. I wish him well, despite his deep-seated hatred and misguided opinion.

    * Interestingly, this university is getting connected to this idiot's ridiculous, inciting point of view. Wouldn't surprise me if the university in question got a clue and erased him from their staff. If the university had "sand," they'd do just that. Though, it wouldn't surprise me if this goes right beyond them.

I can agree with your statement other than the term "righteous"
