A heads up for our friends in Virginia

I came across this today and thought it might be of some value to our members in Virginia. I'd assume that the membership here already knows what will happen if this election goes the wrong way- but this is something you may want to share with friends and coworkers.

If he did he probably doenst now. Im surprised any politician would make that statement. Considering what happened to the last two that were already in office and tossed out over the same thing.

He is counting on the heavily Leftist leaning and populated areas of Northern VA (D.C. satellite communities of Federal Workers) and the Richmand areas that lean left and socialist. He could care less about the rural parts of VA. There are enough uninformed urbanized voters there to sway the state on numbers. Look at the 2012 election results from these areas to illistrate my opinion on this.

Heck, even with all the US Military money that is the base of the economy, Hampton Roads and Norfolk lean heavily left. Lots of non-Military on social programs in those areas.

Awesome that he jumped out of the closet as an Anti-2A goon so early. This will only make it harder on him. Especially since people in VA are watching MD go down the Full Monty Anti-2A path, right next door.

So his basic plan is to make the rest of the State of Virginia equal to the crime wave that is sweeping through D.C. and Baltimore! Great platform to run against him on!

Someone on here, made a comment not long ago no gun control bills would be introduced because of the recall in Co.I'm not expert and i don't know what the future holds for anyone. That said,i thought the one that said that,is new to firearms,or is a bit on the gullible side. There are anti politicians,or those running who aren't going to back down just because of two dems.

Hopefully this man won't get elected.

Just another reason to not vote for him. I did hear today that right now he has the edge but even if he wins I'm not too worried...on that issue anyway. VA is a pretty pro gun state and I can't see the state legislature passing something like that. Heck, within the last year or so they made it legal to conceal in a bar or restaurant w/alcohol, rescinded the one handgun per month purchasing law, and last I heard there's a push to make concealed carry permit holders info unavailable to the public.

Right now the bad guy is in the lead. Someone said something about the NoVa region being his bread and butter- that is true but the trouble runs deeper. SW Virginia tends to vote Democrat due to strong union membership in the coal industry. Even though the people in the area are very much like the folks that turned the south red after being considered the "solid south" for the Democrats for generations, the union keeps them on the Democrat wagon.

I'm headed to Wise County later this week to see if I can help push things the other direction. I haven't been deeply involved in politics in years and don't even live in Virginia- but I believe that this race is an important bellwether for the 2014 cycle. If we lose here we may find ourselves fighting an uphill battle to even be able to legally own a Kentucky long rifle before we get a chance to vote again.

Terry McAuliffe and Hillary Clinton...BFF's. Hillary Clinton Terry McAuliffe Fundraiser To Take Place In September: Reports

McAuliffe is as Liberal as they come and is blanketing Virginia with TV ads.

I'm hoping Virginians see what will happen to their great state if this guy gets his hands on it. It will also be a huge boost to Hillary for her 2016 Presidential campaign if McAullife wins.

He jumped in bed with Bloomberg, went to N.Y. a couple weeks ago and met with him. Sounds like he's selling out to bankroll his campaign. Or he has always felt that way, but wanted to make sure he had a good reason to say it, like Money.
