    Good placement. Great article. It illustrates the depth and breadth of support for the 2A and the NRA.

    I know it depends a lot on the politicians we elect,but we need NRA and any we can get to keep up.The antis will always be around.

    I'm surprised the figure is so low. I'd have thought overall fund-raising would be far, far higher. But then, that's just the "Friends" efforts. No telling what the full and complete funds "raised" is.

    Kudos to all who support the NRA's efforts against tyranny and infringements, and at keeping our oath-breakers aware of the breakage and constitutional crimes they're committing.

    A good portion of the funds raised at our local "Friends" event stays here to support the local school age trap shooting program. Youth programs like that are essential to the continuing support of the 2ndA and to the NRA both.

    Yes, our local kids win state and national prizes. And, after having been out shot by one of the local girls for the first couple years, the boys are getting really good too.............
    Getting old was not on my list of "things to do" in the Golden Years!

    - I'm disappointed that the NRA membership number isn't equal to the number of gun owners in the U.S.A. If it was, the phrase "shall not be infringed" would actually have literal meaning.
