SAF sues in New York over SAFE Act magazine limit

The Second Amendment Foundation today filed a lawsuit in the federal district court for the Northern District of New York seeking to enjoin the Empire State from enforcing provisions of the so-called S.A.F.E. Act limiting the use of gun magazines to seven rounds or less, even if the magazine is designed to hold more ammunition.

Wondered how long it would take for the SAF cavalry to arrive and file suit. I honestly doubt any of the safe act holds up once its been challenged piece by piece.

Blatant infringement that should never have passed in the first place.

I object to this not so much from a tactical/practical stand point I carry five shot revolvers myself. However should I choose to carry my Glock what business is it of theirs? I' ll even drink a big soda if I want! Actually I drink iced tea but you get the point.

Don't forget SAF. They won the McDonald case. They're pretty good at this stuff.

It is pathetic that NYS and some other states are reduced to having to go to court to hope that a federal judge does his/her job and actually upholds the Constitution.

We're trying!!! If only we could get all the gun owners out on election day, we COULD actually win the state and get rid of Emperor Cuomo and his minions.

Thanks for the information about SAF. I had never head of them. Now I'm a paid up member for the next 5 yrs. I have no idea what I get but given the respect some of you (whom I trust) show them I'm happy to contribute.
