Feminine protection: What's better, a new law or a new gun?

With yesterday’s kick-off of “Domestic Violence Awareness Month” the anti-gun Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America announced the launch of a “domestic gun violence awareness campaign” about the same time as a blogger noted on the Bustle website that the percentage of female gun owners is rising.

Feminine protection? Not sure if I can help with that.

OH, after watching the video, I understand. Saw two young ladies by two guns yesterday. Wise decision on their part.
A wise man once said: "Bugout bag?..What's that? Is that all the junk you sidewalk commandos plan on humping when the SHTF...I'll grab a Nylon 66, a box of 22s and a poncho liner and in less than a week I will have all of your stuff and everything else that I need for the duration."

What the gun prohibitionists ignore,” noted Gila Hayes with the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network, “is the violent domestic partner's almost unlimited ability to kill or cripple the battered spouse by a wide variety of means. Since you can't legislate violence out of existence, it seems to me that it makes better sense to allow the intended victim an effective means of defending herself -- a firearm.

My redhead wife says a .357 magnum is the ultimate in feminine protection. I don't argue with her.

Self defense classes teach that anything can be a weapon if you know how to use it.

That said: I'll take a gun over a piece of paper any day!!!!

I think "Mom's For Ensuring Their Daughter's Can't Defend Theirselves" would be a bit more accurate.

That piece of paper could give the attacker some nasty papercuts!

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 224 years ago.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.
