If he will admit to the things in the article,it makes me wonder what else would he try to do?Hopefully it won't matter and the people from Virginia won't put him in office.Time will tell. Some of these anti gunner politicians have lost their minds.

He is a former Democratic National Chairman.

    He is extremely wealthy,

He is BFF with the Clintons.

    He's a hardcore liberal anti-gunner.

We don't need another Anti 2A States next to Maryland . I do not have enough voting power in my own state but will plug away the best as possible. Good Luck to our gun friends in VA in the next election .

If Virginia Republicans don't turn out in mass for the next election, to off set the Northern Virginia voting block, McAliffe will be the next Gov. Then, Virginia will be one more domino to fall in the anti 2A agenda.

Unfortunately we've got a Libertarian who has gained a lot of traction that could be a deciding point in the race. I like him a lot, but he won't win and I'm afraid he will bring down the Repub with him.

    ^^This is how the republicrats^^^^^^^^^^^

    play it.
They are basically one in the same, and they play on the fact that people who would normally vote for a solid republican candidate, were there any, & end up voting for a Libertarian and had the election to the Dem.

There is a solid Republican candidate in the VA governor's race. However, Republicans =/= Libertarians. The "Ron Paul" wing of the GOP are libertarians and thus aren't happy with candidates that are in line with the Republican party's platform. When those people go vote for a libertarian candidate it isn't because there wasn't a good Republican candidate, nor is it because the libertarian ran a campaign to harm the GOP. It is because the people were in the wrong party to start with. The fact that there are more libertarians than there are Green party members (or insert other leftist leaning party here) isn't a slam at the GOP- it simply indicates that those with conservative fiscal beliefs don't necessarily agree on the social issues and unlike the left we voice concern when our candidates aren't in line with what we want.

In honesty that appears to be the case in VA. The libertarian cannot win. However he is going to get some vote. Many of those votes would have gone to the Republican, however not all of them. Some Libertarian party members hold the social issues to be more important than the fiscal issues and routinely vote Democrat when no suitable/viable Republican candidate is around. Will it matter in the end? Maybe, but it shouldn't. If the GOP manages to turn the vote out, they win. If they don't, they lose. The base for the Republican party is enough to carry the state if they're encouraged and motivated to get to the polls.

I'm really concerned about this election. The only hope(other than McAuliffe losing) is the Governor himself can't make laws without the General Assembly and it is gun friendly.....for now.
