"We've only been gathering signatures for about three months, so we got to 250,000 very, very quickly. We're incredibly pleased with how people responded," said Zach Silk with the I-594 campaign.

So...have all you Washington State residents signed the I-591 petition, seeking to prevent the additional background checks?
    We can't get complacent now.

Yep. Signed the 591 petition when it first started. 594 is very likely to pass here because of the population distribution and the fact that many with CPL aren't really regular carrying self-defense rights advocates and think that this "makes sense".

591 may be our only way to prevent 594 from ending our right to FTF off-grid purchase forever. Let's get out the vote, folks.

Signatures are also very, very, easy to fake. Good luck with that though.

It appears the SOS will validate the signatures. Good luck on 591!

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
