My Comments: Why isn't blood runing in all the streets as all the Regressive Progressives have proclaimed it would by now??

I have had a FL out of state permit for years............................. Love FL. Now go shove these stats up the Anti's hind postures every chance you get. Legal firearm owners do not commit crimes! Or if they do, it is at a miniscule precentage of criminals who obtain guns and do not follow the laws!

.............The rate of Florida concealed handgun permits that have been revoked for firearm violations is only 0.0066 percent.

Wow, i was looking at the statistics on United States Concealed Carry Statistics looks like .pa tx ga and .tn are the next highest but not a close second... I also found it funny that ny only has 2000 in the densest city.

I wish they displayed this as percentage of population. The raw numbers are misleading.

Because the lies were full of hot air. IMO, "they" knew it when they spewed it, back when.

Congrats to Florida citizens, and a toast to our liberty from tyranny and predators ... the whole point of the 'game' being played with our ability to survive.

It is a great number and a great thing ................ 47,000 in Maryland (est.) in 2011 .

One has to look at the money collected in fees for the permits from resident & non-resident permits . And this is money handed over willfully to provide the permit .

Florida is approximately the 4th most populous state at 19.3 Million. So that's still only a 6.1% concealed license rate of the total population (if you excluded people under 21, it would be a somewhat higher percentage of eligible persons).

California tops the list as most populous with approximately 38 Million, then Texas at 26 Million, then New York at 19.5 Million.

It is, but none of it is caused by permit holders and legal carriers. A large portion of that number of permits is out of staters.

South Dakota FTW - about 12.2% of age eligible residents.
UT is next at about 11.4% (even discounting non-residents)
AL and IN tie at 10%

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

152,849 is the number of non-resident permits. It is the last county in the lower right of the county listing.

See above regarding Out of State permits.

Some 18-19-20 year olds have permits, based on being active duty or honorably discharged veterans.
