    Seattle Mayor

Here we go again. Seattle's mayor is a gun ban supporter. So much so he is turning to business owners to help him in his endeavor. So he is getting businesses to support a "Gun free zone" idea. Fortunately state law states no local legislation can be more restrictive and signs hold no legal weight. Another reason I don't venture into Seattle much. If I do I don't even look for those type signs since I know they don't mean anything legally. Of course I CC so it is unlikely I will ever be asked to leave if I ever venture into one of those businesses. Maybe I should OC and see what happens.

I lived in Orting for 3 years with my CWP. Went to Seattle on multiple occasions, but only disarmed where legally required to do so.

Keep up the good fight! Sure do miss Mt. Rainier!

They are not 'Liberals' anymore. They are now 'Regressivly Progressive' people..................................

One who has not changed from the old definition of the 'Policical Left' could be now considered a Libertarian, compaired to where the 'Left' has moved to the (dare I make a joke and say) reasioning arguments of the far extreme Regressivly Progressive position. That political party has 'left' most of you. Get used to it.

The left are true 'wing nuts'.

They do not care if you breath air, so long as your dead body is there to listen to them expout hundreds of disjointed socialist messages, that they (group or individuals) do not understand anyway...........or the fact that they now openly expout hate, but hide behind 'feelings'.

When I retired to the Heartland, I noticed the businesses, especially Malls, were putting up those Gun-Prohibition-Signs.gif signs, but after about a year the were nearly extinct.
It seems even the people who chose not to CCW knew those "Gun-Free-Zones" were a needless risk. Too many other "safer options".

After seeing where the Psychos in other States were going to do their killing of innocents, in relative safety, they disappeared from the schools, too.
Most of the schools decided the children were worth protecting and the parents agreed.

Won't have to worry about him, he is getting a beat down. At this point the signs don't matter, if I ever go into the city I abide by the state law. Seattle can pound sand as I would never live in that city or any other city for that matter. C what? Ccccccccc Hawksssssssss!

I lived in the Puget Sound for a number of years - over on the Kitsap side. Seattle is a beautiful city, but it's long been San Francisco Lite. Unfortunate.

OK, yours can whip mine this year.

Seattle mayor does this, Chicago city council does that, DC guy goes inside for having a shotgun shell in his house, Bloomberg outlaws slingshots........

These cities, and many many more, have long been known to be anti firearm. Years ago, they swore to outlaw something. Years from now, they will be doing likewise.

Even here in cornland, Des Moines and Iowa City are about as conservative and pro firearm as San Francisco. Berkeley in the Flats is what I call them.

If it's a city, they ain't on our side. You must be a cop or crook to have a gun there. As it has always been. Too bad. I enjoyed the time I spent in western Washington. They can keep the rain, though.

I'm glad I'm on the redneck side but it is far from perfect. The mayor of our little town is on Bloomburgs list of Mayors against Guns. The plague is everywhere, they are just spread very thin here, for now.
