Wish they would learn that banging repeatedly on the same drum just continues to make the same noise. They just keep trying to do the same thing in different ways as each of their prior methods is struck down.

The anti gunners in Illinois got the carry law shoved down their throats (rightfully so) and are now kicking and screaming and throwing a tantrum.

The only reason I go to Illinois is to get through it. If it didn't add another three hours to my drive when I go home to Memphis, I'd bypass this waste of space all together. Even though I can now cc in my car, no way. My gun will be locked, unloaded in the trunk of the car just like always.

They are never going to give up. As long as Chicago rules the states politics this is going to go on and on and on.

I still go around. 3 hours is a small price to pay to stay out of there.

Maybe it's too early in the morning (I know, it's almost 9am) but for one reason or another I'm not grasping what the proposed law would do. Can someone more awake than I please explain?

Don’t know what your destinations from point A to point B are but….

“ah 3-hr drive out of my way to reliably avert ah possibility of 3-hots & ah cot?”

I vote; take the loop around road!

    NOW . . . . let us reflect:
taking an out of the way route home = three extra hours of drive-time

three extra hours of drive-time = one more litter box stop

possible trouble`s averted by driving around Illinois and not driving through it = priceless

Basically no wrist slaps. Your first offense is to be punished with full force and jail time.

You are allowed to conceal carry in your vehicle with a CCW from your state.

Heck, I've never been further west than Indianapolis. So, in short, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about driving through Illinois.
