Actually, I would like to see them try to ban rocks, concrete slabs and blocks if for no other reason than to ask them how do they purpose to get rid of rocks. So as to actually do so you would have to destroy nature, causing 'global climate change' and if they succede in passing making rocks do they think that they really are a god (which would violate the constitional demand of 'separation of church and state' since it was such a big concern that they wounldn't allow advertising for the Nativity movie at their Christmas celebration.

I would love to see the arguements on banning rocks, just for the sheer entertainment value.

the scary part for me is that the NYS House actually passed this same law this year...lucky for us it didn't make it out of the senate. 90 days to remove from the state or surrender to the state....man there is some scary stuff in that bill...a very broad brush

If you're there, and I pity you if you are, just leave.

This is quite a scare. In all honesty, this is the very purpose for the 2nd. ammendment. It may not be the "honorable" commisioner's motivation, but they have just succeded in taking away the people's rights to defend against tyranny, thus making themselves the oppressors. It's a catch 22 they have walked themelves into, and I hope the US Supreme Court will finally look at this issue and slap it down!

Bet the criminals are happy. Another law to disarm the law abiding.

Cook County sounds like the Illinois version of (Michael) Bloombergville.

I grew up in Illinois. Left there when I was 21 and never looked back. I still visit family, of course, but could not consider living there again. Indiana isn't too far away and the state actually allows me to defend myself and my family. Bonus!
