    we laugh at it. but the sad thig is, these folks really believe it. Not all of them are itdiots either. some of these folks have a high enough IQ. They just firmly believe this nonsense. that's whats scary. and they are LEGION!!!

    I guess the major difference is that it's a lot more capital intensive to manufacture guns (edit: and so essentially require legal manufacturing sites). So, that'll be a major difference. As well, $1000 of heroin is much easier to smuggle than $1000 of guns. Finally, people suggest that legalizing drugs will lead to more drug-related social issues. The counter-logic is that criminalization does the opposite. I dunno, I just don't see the refutation.
    The only acceptable long-term outcome is to find a cure. We currently spend 1000x more on care than finding a cure.
    It requires, though, people to be occasionally intentionally proactive.
    The March of Dimes worked, because people made it happen.

    She's not stupid. She doesn't believe it, she just wants the public to believe it. It's a selling point for her to stay in office.

    Acres of farmland + processing equipment (heroin) vs. medium size manufacturing facility (firearms)

    Chemical substance that can be sensed with chemical detectors or dogs (heroin) vs. a collection of metal and polymer parts (firearms).

    The legalization/criminalization of drugs is too involved for a short comment.

    I don't understand what you don't see.
