I would not put it past the Masters in chicago to make the business permits too expensive to open a gun shop there in defiance of the court order.

Hopefully, it'll only be a matter of time before they go for a complete rework of the state preemption in the field of arms/defense laws, declaring all preexisting municipal "patchwork" ordinances null and void. That'd be nice. Though I imagine it'll take some time for them to realize blood won't be flowing in the streets due to upstanding people taking up arms in their own defense. Lots of good stuff will come down the pike in Illinois, I think, once they try this whole CHL thing on to see how it fits.

Congratulations, IL citizens! Keep your "left" up.

Wait till they tax EVERY GUN $50-$100. I BELIEVE it is Chi that has a .05 tax on every round of ammo sold.

Progressive argument- what? Our gun law didn't lower crime? That just means the law wasn't restrictive enough.

What? Our tax hike didn't raise revenue? That just means we need more tax hikes.
What? Our stimulus (welfare) spending didn't boost the economy? That just means we didn't spend enough.

We've seen what no guns allowed can do - record-setting murder rate, innocents slaughtered in senseless gang violence, good people fleeing a great American city in droves. It's time to change the law! It's also about time we see a federal judge willing to reign in government over reach and back the Constitution as it was written instead of what they wished it would say.
