There are only 31 candidates running for 25 positions. Aside from the celebrities and Linda Walker, who I have met and talked to, I'm not really up on who to like. Suggestions, or disqualifications about any candidates in particular?

None yet. I haven't really even started looking at the candidates. We don't have to have our ballots in until sometime in April so there's lots of time to do a little reading about each one. What I did last time was google every name and do a little reading about them. I probably didn't spend more than 15 to 20 minutes per name but it still took a while. I just did them in alphabetical order and then Xed out the folks I didn't like or starred the folks I did. If I really liked them they got two stars and then I just picked them out based on that.

I don't want to tell anyone who to vote for but what I will do is post any names of folks that I find to be anti-2A in some way, like joaquin jackson from the last election. I don't actually expect many of those types to make it to the ballot, or on the board, but he's been on the board for forever so they obviously do exist.

I'll update this thread with anything I find. Anyone else who takes the time to dig into these candidates should feel free to do the same.

Blackwell and Selleck are the only 2 I have heard of. Both are good guys. Well, Gunny too, of course.

That was the order from my ballot, not my order. I will be looking into what 25 I will vote for.

Just be aware that there are multiple ballots in randomized order, so you can't tell everyone to vote for 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 because their ballot will probably have different names in those spots.

None from me yet. As I said earlier, we have until sometime in April and, to the best of my knowledge, there's no prize for early entry so it's still fairly low on my list. I will get it done, but it probably won't be until after I get some more hunting time in before the predator seasons start to wind down.

Yes be careful, I wrote down the numbers of the ones I liked only to discover they were not the same on the ballet. Another thing is you don't have to vote for 25 if you don't feel comfortable with some of the candidates. If you only find five you like then just vote for them. The important thing is vote.

I got the magazine, but not the ballot. My kid might have ripped it out, as he got to it first. Can you do it online?
