How is it backfiring? Almost 3/4 are for them...

That's 73% say no further background checks...

25% say sure, that would be fine...

    2% don't understand the question...

MSNBC won't like that poll, and I'll bet we never see it on TV.

    ...and I voted!

And, given the constant misleading description I see on "change" sites my liberal friends post to fb, I'll guys most of those saying "yes" don't understand the question.

You're right, but if you don't click on it they sure make it look like 70%+ support it, because they give the question and then put that check mark on the 70%+ side. Glancing at it, as I did, one would think that check meant all those people supported it...

It's quite deceptive is you asked me.

As to the article, the 44 incidents in over a year works out to something like 0.04% of schools+colleges have had a shooting. 0.01% of K-12 schools

That's just horrible. Oh, wait, it's the Mad Moms providing the data. I want facts.
How many of the shootings were actually inside schools, and not just somewhere on school property? Relating to the colleges, that really gets to be a possibly widespread area, with campuses often open to public.

Funny that we don't seem to have seen any news stories about these shootings.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

    Oops!

These polls are portrayed as giving insight into public opinion but in truth they only reflect the views of those who happened to vote.

Still, good job DC members for taking it to them!

Gun control isn't about guns...it's about control. It also makes criminals out of otherwise law abiding citzens.

MSNBC is only going to say that the poll was not scientific and in no way accurately portrays the real will of the American subjects.

Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge - 1986
    Texas CHL since 1996.

    Iraq 2004 to 2011.
    Afghanistan 2012 to present.
