    "Katey's Firearms Facts" film released

Katey Montague, the daughter of Bruce and Donna Montague, has
released her first short film, titled "Katey's Firearms Facts" on the
    video-sharing service YouTube.com.

After researching some of the more ludicrous bungles by the CFC,
Katey relates her findings in her own funny and engaging style.

Katey has acted in Dryden's theatre scene for years. It only took
the smallest encouragement from family friend Christopher di Armani
to get Katey started in her first film project.

Given Katey's lineage, it is not surprising that she shares her
    parents' passion for the truth.

Once she saw how fun making her own movie was, Katey decided to
launch her own YouTube channel to showcase her acting talent and her
views on Canada's Firearms Act and self-defense.

The first four video vignettes, which take a refreshing view of
self-defense, have also been released on YouTube.com.

To view Katey's film debut and her short videos, please visit her
    very own channel on YouTube:

Katey Montague encourages everyone to view and rate her videos today!

If tv would carry PSA's like that violent crime would have to go down

Am I the only one that thinks that shotgun would knock her on her butt? :)
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Yes. Proper stance would negate that. I had my family out shooting after Christmas. My mom and sister had no problem when they were busting clay pigeons.

#8 shot is a LOT different than 00 or slugs.

And, yes, of course proper stance will negate much of the effect of the recoil, but physics always wins...she simply lacks the mass to fully absorb the force created by the weapon.

In any case, I didn't mean she'd literally be knocked on her butt, but(!) she is tiny, and that shotgun is large. She would be hard pressed to maintain complete control of that thing, no matter how good her stance was/is.

    Good work!

As for the kick... If I recall, the Bonnie of Bonnie and Clyde was about 150 lbs soaking wet and carried and fired a BAR during their robberies. It all depends upon how you hold the gun.

Leaving aside debate on use of a shottie ($800 did they say - phew!!) ...... the messages are clear and to us anyways - no brainers.

Sad to think however that so many anti gun folks will treat those messages with near contempt, as they continue to pursue their agendas.

Katey (and Bruce) are on the right track.

It's so simple. It's so easy to see. It's so obvious.

But so many people won't see, refuse to see, look away, etc.

Bonnie parker is usually considered to have been under 100 pounds, in the 90-95 pound range, and 4'11. One of the weapons that she proferred was a cut down BAR, with both a shortened barrel and stock.

    Another video worth watching

Here is another video worth watching on YouTube. I think it summs things up quite well.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaiAFfNceyo&NR

There is a whole series of "Katey's Firearms Facts" listed there. And get this, these are done in Canada. ??? I think this is a group that is advocating more gun rights for Canadian citizens. I say more power to them!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJggEvIlsJ4&NR

Check out this one too. It's a great look at the failed and stupid Canadian gun registry.
