So, in an emergency the governor is ok with bad guys raping and pillaging like vikings? Guess he doesn't remember Katrina. I guess he doesn't want to be re-elected to badly, Send him to the UK may be he would feel safer since no one has any firearms

My wife and I have rethought the idea of going back to TN to retire amongst her folk. I am just plum amazed at the crime levels and the stupidity of the politicos there. Florida seems much safer.

cant wait to see the administration for TN start backpedalling to explain why they want that power over their people so bad...
I have no personal knowledge of that administration and don't know if there was something else in the bill he was objecting to. But having said that...
Power drunk people don't care about history or what is right, they just can't stand to lose any power.

Phil Bredesen isn't from TN, he is from the North.
He doesn't fully represent TN, no politician can.
He is a career politician in that many believe he will run for President in 2012.

Although North/Central Florida seems to be a lot better than in the South...lived in the South for the first year...the next three we moved five hours north...for the last three, we are now another couple hours even farther north...seems far enough!Originally Posted by Miggy
