They don't require knowledge, rational thought, or facts, they only rely on emotion.

Wow the definition of a barrel shroud is actually in the law itself, and she still does not know it.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

She didn't write it. Her anti-freedom friends at the Brady Campaign did.

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

The Clintonesta simply found a book with pictures of guns. The ugly ones with pistol grips an bayonet studs and barrel shrouds or any thing that these dorks thought looked weird, to the ignorant, they said ban those. They are getting better now. They want to ban anything with a magazine (they call them clips) and they want to ban semi automatic shotguns and rifles. We can only join the NRA and vote to keep these people out of office. It is a good thing when you have a two party system that is almost 50/50 a small group can sway elections. I vote with the Republicans because they say they are for less government. Lately I have wondered about that. I remember what happened a Waco and what might happen with Dems in charge if someone found out how many guns and how much ammo I keep. These people are dangerous and they command armies.

I can see how this can be funny, but more than anything I feel depressed when I see something like this. To me, this legislation, and the majority of legislation for that matter, seems to be nothing more than an attempt at getting publicity.

Publicity = Votes = (Re)election = Fat Paycheck. Repeat as necessary.

After I tracked the bill down according to the definition that would include any Winchester lever action or pump rifle. Nothing like trying to ban 130 yr old technology.
