    It's entitled "Gun Control Isn't the Answer."

    The crux of his argument: "The main lesson that should emerge from the Virginia Tech killings is that we need to work harder to identify and cope with dangerously unstable personalities."

    He discredits the charges by Europeans that our "gun culture" is responsible for tragedies like the shootings at Virginia Tech.

    Sounds like it was a good article, and on the right track. I think the lack of screaming for our guns this time is surprising a lot of the (non-gun) folks.

    Disarmament of victims never has been about crime prevention. He's on the right track about withstanding knee-jerk, reactionary, feel-good steps that will be nothing more than "doing something" ... instead of doing something that will fix the problem.

    Explain: How does disarming victims reduce the number of victims?
    Reason over Force: The Gun is Civilization (Marko Kloos).
