Yeah I saw that. I sent my emails. I haven't had a chance to call yet. I'll be just getting back from vacation the night before the panel meets so I'll be pretty much wiped out, but I'm still going to try to go if the VCDL folks are able to get the information out on where it's being held.

Best way to help would be to find some dirt and get the weasel out of office. He's a politician...they all have dirt. It's just a matter of lifting the right rug.

Seems to me you've got an idiot governor who is willfully blinding himself to an obvious possible solution that loads of others can see plainly -- that armed would-be-victims could be able to fight back if they were permitted to have guns of their own. He's instead going to argue that more of what won't work is gonna somehow work.

    Sickening.

It's always the one's in charge of "changing things for the better" that get to live. If the victims of the tragedy could speak from the grave, my guess is they would have an entirely different take on the future of gun control at VT.

Oh, but when we invoke the names of the dead, it's wrong!

The anti-gunners push it off like when they do it, it's respectful and it's a good-faith effort to save lives. (Forget about the fact that we already have tried, for decades, to do it their way and we see what that gets us every catastrophic time!)

They condemn us for trying to reform gun laws when we see that gun laws ended up leaving lives vulnerable, and costing them; but they don't see any hypocrisy when they virtually dance in the blood of the victims to call for more useless restrictions on you and me, the people who are not causing the carnage.

I knew that scumbag with his weasily eyes and split tongue was up to no good two years ago. The great thing about VA governors is they only serve one five-year term. The problem is what they do in those five years.
Thanks for the quicklinks to numbers and email addys

You'd have to get him impeached. That's a tall order.

That is a lie, because there is one State Law that specifically forbids anyone to carry on my alma mater's (VCU) property.

Not a factor. In Virginia, the Governor is limited to one term.

We just have to make sure he doesn't do too much damage before the end of his term.
