For anyone who hasn't heard, Louisiana has proposed their own assault weapons ban, along with a retro-active provision requiring registration and yearly licensing for currently legal EBR owners.

I sent some emails to the appropriate people, and what do you know, I actually got some responses!

I am voting "NO" and hopefully it will be voluntarily deferred - in
order words- withdrawn and not even come to a vote. Thanks, Jane Smith
