He bought 100,000 AK-74s and 2 million rounds (yeah, you do the math).... and recently they capture some supply sarge selling 12 of them to criminals which is par for the country.
And no... no way those weapons are going to the hands of the people. I met some Chavista in an online chat thing who claimed to have one of the Aks and was ready to do the Socialism, Motherland or Death thing. He was all huffy & puffy about how the Party entrusted him with the rifle and blah-blah. I told him that there was no way that Chavez gave him a rifle because he was scared of people revolting. He disagreed loudly so I asked him to prove it by telling me if the magazine release button was on the left side or the right side of his AK. He answered the left
    His butt was mine afterwards.

And the wife said I have done enough this year to help with the cause and that tires for the truck come first

I have 3 and will not share with the 10, they'll need to get their own.

I did have a question about the stats though, it seems that "all" guns regardless of size, caliber, or auto versus semi are being lumped together to get this results. I'd be curious as to what country has the most "automatic" weapons per person or "rpg's". One would think that the US would lose out on that one.

Did anyone notice a statistic that is conspicuously missing from the article? I didn't see any correlation between the number of firearms per capita and its relationship to violent crime, especially the countries mentioned. We know what the answer to that one is, but the sheeple that read the story don't.
