    This became even more apparent after the Virginia Tech Shootings.

    Almost every news agency from ABC, to CNN, Fox, AP, CBS, NBC and all others had online and call in surveys. Each poll, no matter the news agency, reported that Americans have finally given the gun control debate another closer look. Be it for their own change of ideology or their own attempt to self preservation in an ever changing social complexity and the war on terror, citizens are now taking note that a man with a gun is better than a cop on the phone.
