How I'd like a Pro-Anti interview to go

Ok - this is the shortened version but hey - we can dream right?

Pro - "Can you tell me how you are going to get guns out of the hands of criminals?"

Anti - "Ban all guns"

Pro - "I see, so with millions of guns in circulation the bad guys are gonna obey the law, right? Give up their guns?"

Anti - "Ahh - no, I suppose they won't."

Pro - "So bad guys will always have guns?"

anti - "I guess yes many probably will"

Pro - "Why therefore do you wish to disarm the good guys, who need their (legal) guns to defend against the potentially armed bad guys?"

anti - "Get as many guns off the streets as we can"

Pro - "You mean 'legal' guns off the streets?"

anti - "Well yes."

Pro - "So you wish to leave millions of law abiding folks defenceless against the armed criminal? Deprive them of their constitutional right to self defence?"

anti - "Umm, well, that's different but guns are dangerous."

Pro - "Different how? Cars are dangerous"

anti - "Got to reduce gun numbers, can't have shoot-outs everywhere"

Pro - "So, if you are subjected to an armed threat you'd what - rather be killed, your wife killed?"

anti - "No, not really."

Pro - "What would you prefer?"

anti - "Umm, I suppose I'd rather be armed and able to defend myself."

Pro - "Exactly!!!!"

I'm sorry Chris, but there you go being logical again! Anti's aren't logical, except for their form of sheeple logic, which will get you dead quick. Nice fantasy though!
