So if I am a criminal I just buy ammo smuggled into the country and use it. Much like the war on drugs now our tax dollars will go to fight a new black market.

This country needs an enema at the government level

sounds like sideways gun registration to me. you buy nine mm ammo so you must have a 9mm handgun? also BG will steal your ammo to do bad. and you better have a good aliby. wonder how they will micro mark shotgun rounds?

HB4269 and HB4349, both sponsered by Democrats. They both read exactly like Arizonas

How would they even tell if you have rounds that are not encoded w/ this so called serial number. If the numbers are on the back of the projectile and inside of the casing? It just looks like another bullet. What are they gonna do? Stop you and ask you to shoot off a few rounds so they can make sure the ammo is legal? Extremely insane these people must be.

I listened to an interview last night on Cam & Company NRA News (still available until tonight Feb 20th at nra.org) & the guy who has applied for the patent & has hired the lobbying group that is pushing the legislation does not even know how it would be implemented - he said he would leave that up to "the experts" in the ammo industry to determine although he already applied for a patent & plans to charge a per round licensing fee. Incredible.

According to the National Safety Council, we are more likely to die in a bicycle accident or plane crash than an accidental gun shooting. We should ban bicycles & planes before banning guns.

Unbeliveable, so dumb, huge waste of resourses, time, and money! Makes no sense, like Sgt. Mac said, how would they do 12 gauge ammo?

Not to mention every other gauge of shell. I can envision microscopic codes on each BB!
