One cannot believe in the 2nd Amendment and that as much is the right of the individual _AND_ be completely okay square with the DC gun ban as it has been and today stands.
This is same as he saying he believes in the 4th Amendment _AND_ is completely okay and square with the NOLA police and US military involuntarily and with lethal force in hand at threat of being shot toward removal of citizens from their homes.

This is same as he saying he believes in the 7th and 8th Amendments _AND_ is completely okay and square with Jim Crow and Civil Rights movement era regional 'law enforcement' measures including abuses and suspension of civil liberties without regard to law, lawfulness, nor the Constitution inclusive of the Bill of Rights and all of it's amendments there in.

Having a foot in both pools does not jive, at all.
It's a sad reflection on Americans when we, including my wife (!), can no longer think with an ability to discern rational from irrational toward what they read or are told. Especially when said statements are so completely contradictory that they are as different in concept as a farmers chickens are from the fox that takes their lives.
