Very impressed, especially coming from CNN.

That was great! Did you notice all the CNN and ABC logos in the background?
I had seen that the other night. Don't get too excited about this being on CNN. I don't think you'll here pro gun talk on anywhere on CNN except on Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck for president.......
You should hear him rant on the radio!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly that piece would be seen by many who are not like us and already amongst the choir as being hokey, slanted, and simply not serious as per the specific attitude and nutty acting demeanor of Glenn Beck.
Had he presented this piece in more of a Kronkite or even Sam Donaldson demeanor and had been Kronkite or Donaldson, then and maybe only then the intended impact _might_ may be most effective in delivery.
Frankly if I had seen this piece and had been some screed along the lines of Chris Matthews from several days ago I would just on his demeanor alone discount the overall message even he'd had Jesus on to support his claims only because he comes off in his delivery as being unprofessional, biased, some what off kilter, and seeming like he'd fighting the clock toward a bathroom break.
One item of note though is that I absolutely loved the featured quote at the end of the report by John Adams.
But that quote in and of itself is ironic considering his involvement with the Boston Massacre and his statements to the defense of English soldiers in the murder of Crispus Attucks.
This is too late for African-American History month but Attucks and the event that later became known as 'The Boston Massacre' was one of the very first sparks toward igniting the powder keg that not too much later resulted in this countries declaration of independence. Attucks died amongst a crowd who had taunted what represented to them to be oppressors via a foreign military presence, and they were.
I was reviewing this history with my 5 yr. old daughter three months ago toward teaching her about U.S. history and how this country came to be following her inquiry about as much and wonder of how did we (America) come to be Americans;
