Obama: I believe in Second Amendment rights and I believe in the rights of hunters and sportsmen to bear arms and use them in a responsible way. I would want to review the National Park initiative to make sure that there was acutally a rationale for it. People generally don't have hunting licenses in national parks, and if they don't have a hunting license, the question then is what are they going to use the firearms for? ....

To the three posts above. Obama "gets it". He knows you would all say they are carrying for self-defense. He is of the socialist stripe just like the British socialists. In his world you would be prohibited under the law from defending yourself with force. In his view it is for the STATE to punish the offender and protect you. The socialists just wants you to die, by violence or disease, just about the time you would retire and begin using more state resources than you pay for.

He is a socialist liberal who would turn our Bill of Rights into a negotiable contract based on the whims of a single government official or governing body.
